Membership Levels:
CAL is an organization that depends
completely on the strengths of its volunteers. CAL asks each of its members
to be at least 18 years old and to volunteer a minimum of 5 hours per year.
There are many ways to benefit the League and your special talents are very
much appreciated.
General Artist Membership: $40 per year includes:
- Informative
Newsletter
- Monthly
Meetings with Guest Artists
- Opportunities
to Participate in Workshops and Seminars
- Participation
in Gallery Shows
- ONLY
20% Commission on all Gallery Sales
- Video
Rentals - $5 per month
- 10%
Discount at Binders Art Supply
Professional Membership: $75 per year
includes benefits of General Artist Membership level and:
- Link
to personal website from CAL’s website
- Privilege
to lease studio or wall space
- Use
of CAL's Building and Equipment. Members area includes mat cutter,
shrink machine ($.75 per foot), light table, and projectors.
- Free
Video Rentals
Patrons of the Arts:
CAL Patrons
are supporters of Charlotte Art League, who help promote "The Arts"
by giving donations at the following levels:
Platinum $1,000 + yearly ___ Gold $500 + yearly ___ Silver
$200 + yearly ___ Bronze $100 + yearly ___
Monthly sponsorship pledges ______ Memorial donations may be made in
the name of a loved one ____________
Your financial support of $10 - 20 - 50 per month will help us continue our
efforts to make art and artists accessible to the community. Any level may be
paid by credit card, monthly amounts on the same day of each month for
continuity. THESE DONATIONS ASSURE US OF A STEADY STREAM OF INCOME TO MAKE
MORE OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE FOR THE ART COMMUNITY. For your support you or
your company will be featured in CAL's newsletters which includes your
recognition and advance invitations to Gallery events.
CAL Sublets: (Professional Membership Required to Sublet)
- Wall
space rental: $5 per linear foot with a three (3) month lease. One month
paid in advance. After initial lease renter is on a
monthly basis. Lease can be
canceled by either party with a 30 day written notice.
- Studio
rental is $250. per month with a minimum 6 month lease. (Can be shared.)
